Twenty-five (25) years of hands-on and management experience with two prominent national general contractors in California and Hawaii. Entered the industry as an apprentice carpenter in 1962, advancing within short periods of time to Carpenter Foreman, General Foreman, Field Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, and from 1974 to 1987, Senior Project Manager in charge of numerous large projects, including high-rise condominiums, hotels, and commercial complexes.

In 1988, founded Summit Construction, Inc., a Hawaii-based general contracting firm. Also founder and President of a major Hawaii construction consulting company since 1987.
